The EVE INR21700-50PL is a high-power rechargeable lithium-ion cell combining 5000mAh minimum capacity with a manufacturer-defined 70A maximum discharge condition. Its 21700 format provides approximately 18Wh of nominal energy, while 10A maximum charging, low initial impedance and documented 40A cycle testing support professionally engineered battery packs requiring both useful runtime and high current output.
Standard discharge capacity is at least 5000mAh when measured at 1A and 25°C after standard charging, with discharge ending at 2.50V. At the 3.6V nominal voltage, this equals approximately 18Wh per cell, providing a practical combination of stored energy and high-current performance in the 21700 format.
EVE specifies a 70A maximum discharge condition with a 2.50V voltage cutoff, 75°C recommended thermal cutoff and 80°C maximum cutoff. Because the document does not separately label this value as continuous or pulse current, system designers should preserve the manufacturer’s maximum-discharge terminology and validate duty cycle, temperature rise and cooling.
The standard charging profile uses 2.5A at 25°C, while the specified maximum-charge profile uses 10A. Both apply CC-CV charging to 4.20V with a 0.1A termination current. Charger accuracy, temperature sensing, cell balancing and heat dissipation must be engineered around the selected charging rate and pack configuration.
Initial internal impedance is specified at no more than 5mΩ using an AC 1kHz measurement at shipping state of charge. Rate testing retains at least 95% relative capacity at both 30A and 40A under the defined 25°C test, demonstrating strong high-current capacity delivery within the documented operating limits.
The cycle test uses 10A charging and 40A discharging to 2.50V or the 75°C cutoff, with controlled rest periods after charge and discharge. After 400 cycles, capacity must remain at least 60% of the first-cycle discharge capacity measured at 25±2°C. Actual service life varies with load, temperature and pack design.
The sleeved cell measures 21.15±0.10mm in diameter and 70.15±0.15mm in height, with maximum weight of 68g. EVE recommends cell spacing above 1mm and temperature sensing near the cell midpoint. Pack construction should protect the sleeve, secure cells against mechanical shock and use welded connector plates instead of direct soldering.
Custom battery pack applications: Subject to engineering validation, the EVE INR21700-50PL can support high-power tools, commercial cleaning equipment, robotics, garden equipment, light electric mobility and industrial power modules. MisenBattery supplies EVE cells and supports custom pack integration with a suitable BMS, fuse, welded interconnects, temperature sensing, electrical insulation, cell spacing, and application-specific thermal and mechanical design. Supporting CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation can be provided when available for the applicable cell, completed battery pack and shipment.
