The EVE-INR21700/50E is a rechargeable cylindrical lithium-ion cell specified at 3.65V nominal voltage, 5,000mAh nominal capacity and at least 4,900mAh minimum capacity under its standard test. The specification also defines a 15A maximum continuous discharge and separate charge settings for different cell-surface temperatures. MisenBattery can support cell sourcing and custom pack integration for professionally designed applications whose electrical, thermal and mechanical requirements match these limits.
The stated nominal capacity is 5,000mAh, while the minimum is 4,900mAh. Both are tied to charging at 1A to 4.20V with a 100mA cut-off, then discharging at 1A to 2.50V. Keeping the minimum value separate from the nominal figure gives pack designers a clearer capacity basis.
The dimension drawing specifies a diameter of 21.15 ± 0.10mm and height of 70.15 ± 0.15mm with the insulating tube. Cell weight is 69.0 ± 2.0g. At the nominal voltage and capacity, calculated nominal energy is approximately 18.25Wh per cell. Allow for dimensional tolerances when designing holders and interconnects.
EVE specifies a maximum continuous discharge current of 15A, equivalent to 3C using the 5,000mAh capacity basis, with a 2.50V discharge cut-off. Its discharge-rate test reports at least 90% relative capacity at 15A under the stated test conditions. Actual pack output also depends on thermal and electrical design.
Standard charge is 1A to 4.20V, rapid charge is 2.5A to 4.15V, and maximum continuous charge is 5A to 4.10V; each has its own stated voltage tolerance and 100mA cut-off. The higher charge-current entries use lower target voltages. Charger design must preserve the pairing of current and voltage.
The permitted charge current changes with cell-surface temperature: no more than 1A at 0–15°C, up to 5A at 15–45°C, and no more than 1A at 45–55°C. The specification also states a 60°C pack charge cut-off temperature. A finished pack needs sensing and protection settings that follow these limits.
The cycle-life section specifies at least 70% of the test's initial discharge capacity after 1,000 cycles at 25 ± 2°C, with 5A discharge to 3.00V. Its stated 2.5A charging conditions differ from the rapid-charge parameter table. Confirm the applicable protocol with EVE before projecting cycle life for a finished pack.
Custom battery pack applications: MisenBattery supplies cells and supports custom pack integration for professionally designed equipment within the verified operating limits. The finished pack requires a compatible BMS, suitable fusing, cell-voltage and temperature sensing, insulation, welded interconnects, spacing and thermal design. Confirm the applicable product and shipment documentation before stating certification or approval.
