FEB 21700G/68E is a rechargeable 21700 lithium-ion cell with 6500 mAh nominal and minimum capacity, 3.6 V nominal voltage and approximately 23.4 Wh of calculated nominal energy. The A/02 specification defines temperature-dependent continuous currents, capacity acceptance conditions and a 1000-cycle retention test. MisenBattery supplies cells and supports custom battery pack evaluation using the applicable electrical limits, enclosure dimensions, protection settings and thermal requirements for each project.
The specification lists both nominal and minimum capacity at 6500 mAh, despite the 68E model designation. Capacity acceptance uses 3.25 A CC-CV charging to 4.2 V with 130 mA termination, followed by 1.3 A discharge to 2.5 V. Nominal energy is approximately 23.4 Wh, calculated from 3.6 V and 6.5 Ah.
Maximum continuous discharge is 13 A at surface temperatures from 0°C to below 35°C. The limit reduces to 6.5 A from 35°C to below 45°C or from −20°C to below 0°C, and 3.25 A from 45°C to below 70°C. Apply these limits together with the −20 to 60°C ambient discharge range.
Standard charging uses 3.25 A CC-CV to 4.2 V with 130 mA termination. Maximum continuous charge reaches 4.55 A from 15°C to below 45°C surface temperature, reducing to 3.25 A from 5°C to below 15°C or 45°C to below 60°C, and 0.65 A from 0°C to below 5°C. Ambient charging remains limited to 0–45°C.
The specification requires at least 70% of first-cycle discharge capacity at cycle 1000. Testing uses 3.25 A charging and 6.5 A discharging over 4.2–2.75 V at room temperature, with 650 mA charge termination. Each charge and discharge is followed by a 30-minute rest. This protocol differs from standard capacity measurement to 2.5 V.
Diameter is 21.65 ± 0.2 mm and height is 70.95 ± 0.2 mm, with a maximum weight of 75 g. AC impedance is limited to 19 mΩ at 1000 Hz. These specifications support enclosure and inspection planning, with dimensional tolerances, terminal insulation, cell holders and welding access verified before pack assembly.
The specification requires at least 70% of initial capacity at −20 ± 2°C, after standard charging and a 24-hour rest at the test temperature. Discharge uses 6.5 A to 2.2 V, while initial capacity is obtained by standard charging and discharging at 25 ± 2°C. The test endpoint does not replace the normal 2.5 V discharge endpoint.
Custom battery pack applications: MisenBattery supplies FEB cells and supports custom pack evaluation for industrial equipment and portable power projects, subject to application validation. Provide a compatible BMS, fuse protection, voltage and temperature sensing, validated resistance-welding or laser-welding processes, terminal insulation, cell spacing and suitable thermal and mechanical design. Direct soldering is prohibited. Confirm applicable CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation for the specific cell, pack and shipment; certification status is not established by the supplied specification alone.
