Tenpower INR21700-60XG is a rechargeable 21700 cylindrical lithium-ion cell manufactured by Huaian Tenpower Lithium Co., Ltd. The supplied V0.1 draft lists 3.6 V nominal voltage, 6000 mAh nominal capacity and 5900 mAh minimum capacity, with approximately 21.6 Wh of calculated nominal energy. MisenBattery supplies cells and supports custom pack evaluation using the draft's distinct discharge conditions, charging procedure, impedance requirements and terminal-welding restrictions, subject to confirmation of the released specification.
The draft lists 6000 mAh nominal capacity and 5900 mAh minimum capacity after standard charging, with 1.2 A discharge to 2.5 V at 25 ± 3°C. Calculated nominal energy is approximately 21.6 Wh. The 5900 mAh minimum follows the nominal-specification table and Chinese test clause; an inconsistent English test sentence is disclosed in the technical note.
The draft lists 40 A continuous discharge without temperature cut-off and 60 A continuous discharge with a 75°C cut-off. A separate pulse rating is 160 A for 3 seconds. Retain these conditions when comparing cells, and confirm pulse SOC, recovery intervals and pack thermal performance before establishing the intended operating duty cycle.
Standard charging uses 3 A CC-CV to 4.2 V with a 100 mA termination current at 25 ± 3°C. The draft lists maximum charging current separately as 16 A. Charger and BMS evaluation should retain this distinction, apply the appropriate ambient and cell surface temperature limits, and confirm the released charging specification.
The draft specifies internal impedance no greater than 5 mΩ at 1 kHz, 25 ± 3°C and 30% SOC. This defined measurement basis supports incoming inspection and cell comparison. Use appropriate DC resistance measurements and thermal testing when assessing voltage drop and heat generation under the intended pack load and operating conditions.
Maximum diameter is 21.50 mm, maximum height is 70.50 mm and maximum weight is 76.0 g. The drawing also prohibits welding within the negative-terminal central Ø3.5 mm area. These requirements support holder and interconnect planning, with validated weld locations, suitable insulation, cell spacing and thermal and mechanical design for the assembled pack.
The draft requires at least 60% of initial discharge capacity after 500 cycles at 25 ± 3°C. Each cycle uses 6 A CC-CV charging to 4.2 V with 100 mA termination, a 10-minute rest, 40 A discharge to 2.5 V or 75°C, and a 45-minute rest. This is a test-specific requirement, not a universal pack-life guarantee.
Custom battery pack applications: MisenBattery supplies Tenpower cells and supports custom pack evaluation for power tools, industrial equipment and mobility projects, subject to application validation and confirmation of the released manufacturer specification. Integration should include a compatible BMS, fuse protection, voltage and temperature sensing, validated spot-welded interconnects, insulation, cell spacing and thermal and mechanical design. Keep the negative-terminal central Ø3.5 mm area free of welds; do not solder directly to the cell. Confirm applicable CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation for the specific cell, pack and shipment; certification status is not established by the draft's safety-test criteria.
