The EVE INR21700/58E is a rechargeable cylindrical lithium-ion cell specified at 3.60V nominal voltage, 5,700mAh nominal capacity and a 5,600mAh minimum standard discharge capacity. Version B of its specification defines a 16.8A maximum discharge condition, dimensional tolerances and a qualified cycle-life test. MisenBattery can support cell sourcing and custom pack integration for professional applications whose electrical, temperature and mechanical requirements match the verified cell limits.
EVE lists 5,700mAh nominal capacity and 5,600mAh minimum standard discharge capacity. The capacity test uses 1.12A charging to 4.20V with a 0.112A cut-off, followed by 1.12A discharge to 2.50V at 25°C. These conditions provide a specific basis for comparing capacity and estimating pack requirements.
The specified cell measures 21.50 ± 0.20mm in diameter and 70.80 ± 0.20mm in height with its tube. Weight is 71.0 ± 2.0g. Multiplying 3.60V nominal voltage by 5.7Ah nominal capacity gives approximately 20.52Wh per cell; pack designers should also allow for the dimensional tolerances.
The maximum discharge entry is 16.8A, or 3C using the specification's 5.6A C-rate basis, to a 2.50V cut-off. It is marked as not for cycle life. In the separate discharge-rate test, the cell retains at least 90% relative capacity at 16.8A under the stated laboratory conditions.
Standard charge is 1.12A to 4.20V with a 0.112A current cut-off. The specification separately allows a 5.6A maximum charge under its stated voltage and cut-off conditions, but marks that maximum as not for cycle life. Pack charging controls should keep current, voltage and temperature within their specified ranges.
Initial impedance is no more than 18mΩ at AC 1kHz when measured at shipping state of charge. Ambient charging is specified from 0 to 45°C and ambient discharge from −20 to 60°C. Separate cell-surface temperature figures and restart guidance appear in the specification and must be considered in pack protection design.
The cycle-life test specifies at least 70% of its first-cycle discharge capacity after 500 cycles at 25 ± 2°C. The method uses 2.8A charge to 4.2V with a 0.28A cut-off, followed by 5.6A discharge to 3.0V, with defined rests. This result should be quoted together with its test conditions.
Custom battery pack applications: MisenBattery supplies cells and supports professionally designed custom battery packs where the verified current and temperature limits fit the intended equipment. A finished pack needs a compatible BMS, suitable fusing, voltage and temperature sensing, insulation, welded interconnects, spacing and thermal design. EVE's guidance prohibits direct soldering to the cell and recommends more than 1mm between cells. Confirm the applicable product and shipment documents before making certification claims.
