Tenpower INR21700-30SG is a rechargeable cylindrical lithium-ion cell manufactured by Jiangsu Tenpower Lithium Co., Ltd. The supplied V0.3 specification lists 3.6 V nominal voltage, 3000 mAh nominal capacity and 30 A maximum continuous discharge, with approximately 10.8 Wh of calculated nominal energy. MisenBattery supplies cells and supports custom pack evaluation using the manufacturer's defined charging procedures, impedance conditions, dimensional limits and cycle-test requirements.
The specification lists 3000 mAh nominal capacity and 2950 mAh minimum capacity using 600 mA discharge to 2.5 V after standard charging. A separate rated-discharge test specifies at least 2900 mAh at 10 A after rated charging. Keeping these capacity grades and test conditions distinct supports accurate cell comparison and pack sizing.
Tenpower specifies a maximum continuous discharge current of 30 A for INR21700-30SG. This supports evaluation for packs with demanding sustained loads. Pack current limits must also account for cell surface temperature, interconnect capacity, protection settings and cooling. The supplied document does not provide a separate pulse-current rating to extend this continuous limit.
Standard charging uses 1.5 A CC-CV to 4.2 V with a 100 mA termination current. Rated charging uses 4 A with the same voltage and termination settings; listed charging times are 150 and 90 minutes at 25 ± 3°C. The separate 6 A maximum must not be substituted for the rated charging procedure.
The cell's specified internal impedance is no more than 15 mΩ, measured at 1 kHz, 25 ± 3°C and 30% SOC. This defined measurement basis helps with incoming inspection and like-for-like comparisons. AC impedance should remain separate from DC resistance when engineers evaluate voltage drop, heat generation and the intended pack duty cycle.
V0.3 specifies a maximum diameter of 21.35 mm and maximum height of 70.35 mm, with a maximum weight of 69.0 g. These limits support holder selection, cell spacing and enclosure-clearance calculations. Use the current supplied revision when planning mechanical integration, since its dimension limits differ from the earlier values recorded in the revision history.
The cycle specification requires at least 70% of standard discharge capacity after 300 cycles at 25 ± 3°C. Each cycle uses 4 A CC-CV charging to 4.2 V with 100 mA termination, a 10-minute rest, 30 A discharge to 2.5 V and a 45-minute rest. This is a defined test result, not a universal service-life promise.
Custom battery pack applications: MisenBattery supplies Tenpower cells and supports custom pack evaluation for power tools, industrial equipment and mobility applications, subject to load-profile and environmental validation. Integration should include a compatible BMS, fuse protection, voltage and temperature sensing, validated spot-welded interconnects, insulation, cell spacing and thermal and mechanical design. Confirm applicable CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation for the specific cell, pack and shipment; the specification's safety-test criteria do not establish certification status.
