The Yinlong 66160H is a large-format 2.3V 40Ah lithium titanate cylindrical cell for professionally engineered high-power battery systems. It combines approximately 92Wh of nominal energy with fast-charge capability, low internal resistance, wide-temperature operation and threaded stud terminals. The cell is intended for protected modules and packs rather than standalone consumer use.
The 66160H provides 40Ah nominal capacity at 2.3V, equal to approximately 92Wh of nominal energy per cell. Lithium titanate chemistry uses a 2.8V upper charge limit and 1.5V discharge cut-off, so battery-management settings must be designed specifically for LTO rather than conventional lithium-ion or LiFePO4 cells.
The aluminum cylindrical enclosure measures 66mm in diameter and 160mm high without its terminals. Total length reaches 202mm with the threaded studs, and cell weight is approximately 1.25kg. Pack enclosures must provide adequate terminal clearance, electrical insulation, mechanical retention and space for correctly sized busbars.
The specification lists maximum charge and discharge currents of 10C, equivalent to 400A on the 40Ah capacity basis. Because no allowable duration or thermal condition is provided, 400A should be treated as a controlled maximum rather than a continuous rating. Current limits require application-specific engineering validation.
A headline feature states that the cell can be fully charged in approximately 10 minutes, while the supplied curve illustrates 1C charging at 40A. Final charger design must control the 2.8V upper limit and account for cell temperature, SOC, interconnect resistance and balancing. Confirm the high-rate charging profile before production use.
The stated ambient operating range is -50°C to 65°C for both charging and discharging. This broad range supports battery systems exposed to cold starts or changing outdoor conditions. Pack designers must still monitor individual cell temperature and apply suitable current derating, insulation, heating or cooling according to validated application requirements.
The datasheet publishes a cycle-life figure of 30,000 cycles, reflecting the long-life positioning of the LTO platform. However, it does not state the associated depth of discharge, current rates, temperature or remaining-capacity threshold. Pack-life forecasts should therefore use verified project-specific cycle data instead of treating 30,000 cycles as an unconditional guarantee.
Custom battery pack applications: Misenpower supplies Yinlong LTO cells and supports custom integration for grid frequency regulation, regenerative-energy systems, heavy-duty vehicles, industrial equipment, UPS and cold-climate energy storage. Every pack requires an LTO-compatible BMS, correctly rated fuse, engineered busbars, secure terminal hardware, voltage and temperature sensing, insulation, spacing, mechanical restraint and thermal design. Supporting CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation can be provided for the applicable product and shipment; confirm document scope before ordering.
