The PLANNANO PLITR60138MSTA is a rechargeable 2.4V 27Ah lithium titanate cell for high-power battery systems. It provides 64.8Wh nominal energy, AC resistance of no more than 0.5mΩ at 1000Hz and a published maximum constant discharge rating of 135A. Pack designers must apply LTO-specific voltage control, current protection, thermal monitoring and mechanically secure cell interconnections.
The cell combines a 2.4V nominal voltage with 27Ah nominal capacity, producing 64.8Wh of nominal energy. Its specified operating voltage limits are 2.8V for charge cut-off and 1.5V for discharge cut-off. These limits require an LTO-compatible BMS and charger rather than protection settings designed for conventional lithium-ion or LiFePO4 batteries.
Each PLITR60138MSTA cell stores 64.8Wh of nominal energy and has a published energy density of 72Wh/kg. Cell weight is specified at no more than 900g. Because dimensional tolerances and terminal drawings are not included in the available specification, module spacing, holders and busbars should be finalized only after production samples are measured and approved.
Published current ratings correspond to 27A standard discharge and 135A maximum constant discharge. A separate 270A maximum discharge value is also listed, but its permitted duration and test conditions are not defined. The 270A figure should therefore not be treated as a continuous or pulse rating until written operating conditions are obtained from the manufacturer.
The specification corresponds to 27A standard charge, 81A maximum constant charge and 162A maximum charge. PLANNANO also states that a full charge can be completed in six minutes, although the associated test conditions are not published. Charger capability, temperature limits, cell matching and the allowable duration of maximum current must be validated before rapid-charging operation.
AC resistance is specified at no more than 0.5mΩ when measured at 1000Hz. This low-resistance characteristic supports efficient high-current battery system design when cells are properly matched and securely connected. Actual pack resistance also depends on busbars, welds, fasteners, fuses and cable connections, so the finished module should undergo resistance and load testing.
PLANNANO describes the LTO chemistry as offering good thermal stability, intrinsic safety and no lithium dendrite formation. The manufacturer also states a service life exceeding 20 years and a recycling rate above 97%. These are manufacturer-stated advantages; cycle count, remaining-capacity threshold and detailed laboratory conditions are not published for this exact cell model.
Custom battery pack applications: This high-rate LTO cell may be considered for industrial energy storage, regenerative-power systems, low-temperature equipment, backup power and custom mobility batteries. MisenBattery supplies cells and supports pack integration with an LTO-compatible BMS, fuses, welded or manufacturer-approved interconnects, voltage and temperature sensing, insulation, cell spacing, mechanical restraint and thermal design. Availability and scope of CE, UN38.3, RoHS or UL documentation must be confirmed for the applicable cell batch, pack configuration and shipment.
