The PLITR60138CSTA 60138 is a rechargeable 2.4V 30Ah lithium titanate cell developed for high-power battery systems. It provides 72Wh nominal energy, 85Wh/kg energy density, AC resistance of no more than 0.35mΩ at 1000Hz and a published maximum constant discharge rating of 240A. Safe integration requires LTO-specific voltage control, overcurrent protection, temperature sensing and mechanically secure connections.
The cell combines a 2.4V nominal voltage with 30Ah nominal capacity, providing 72Wh of nominal energy. Its specified voltage limits are 2.8V for charge cut-off and 1.5V for discharge cut-off. These LTO-specific limits require a compatible BMS and charger rather than protection settings developed for conventional lithium-ion or LiFePO4 battery cells.
Each PLITR60138CSTA cell offers 72Wh of nominal energy, 85Wh/kg published energy density and a maximum cell weight of 850g. These figures provide higher energy performance than lower-capacity cells in the same PLANNANO product family. Because dimensions and terminal drawings are not published, module holders, busbars and mechanical spacing should be finalized using approved production samples.
Published ratings correspond to 30A standard discharge and 240A maximum constant discharge. A separate 600A maximum discharge value is listed, but the permitted duration and detailed test conditions are not defined. The 600A value must therefore not be treated as a continuous or pulse rating until written operating conditions are confirmed by the cell manufacturer.
The available ratings correspond to 30A standard charge, 120A maximum constant charge and 360A maximum charge. PLANNANO also states that the cell can be fully charged in six minutes, although the supporting test conditions are not published. Charger capacity, cell temperature, current distribution and maximum-current duration must be validated before high-rate charging is implemented.
AC resistance is specified at no more than 0.35mΩ when measured at 1000Hz. This low-resistance characteristic supports efficient high-current operation when cells are correctly matched and securely interconnected. Total battery-pack resistance also depends on busbars, welds, fasteners, fuses and cables, so every completed module should undergo resistance, voltage-balance and load testing.
PLANNANO describes the LTO chemistry as providing good thermal stability, intrinsic safety and no lithium dendrite formation. The manufacturer also states a service life exceeding 20 years, repeated operation from -50°C to +65°C and a recycling rate above 97%. Detailed cycle-count, capacity-retention and laboratory test conditions are not published for this exact model.
Custom battery pack applications: This high-power LTO cell may be considered for regenerative-power systems, industrial energy storage, grid frequency regulation, heavy equipment, backup power and custom mobility batteries. MisenBattery supplies cells and supports pack integration with an LTO-compatible BMS, fuses, welded or manufacturer-approved interconnects, voltage and temperature sensing, electrical insulation, cell spacing, mechanical restraint and thermal design. Availability and scope of CE, UN38.3, RoHS or UL documentation must be confirmed for the applicable cell batch, pack configuration and shipment.
