Misenpower supplies the 60140-50Ah, a 3.2V, 50Ah cylindrical lithium-ion cell whose specification identifies a lithium iron phosphate positive electrode. Rated energy is 160Wh, and standard charging and discharging use 25A. The specification also includes defined cycle-life tests, low single-cell impedance and separate momentary maximum-current figures. This bare cell requires professionally engineered battery-pack protection and verified mechanical fit.
The cell is rated at 50Ah and 3.2V, with 160Wh rated energy. Delivery capacity is specified at no less than 50Ah under the 0.5C standard-discharge condition. These cell-level values provide a basis for calculating a pack’s voltage, capacity and energy, while usable system energy depends on the operating window and pack design.
The initial-dimensions table specifies a 60 ±0.20mm diameter, 140 ±0.30mm height and 885 ±15g weight. An adjacent illustration gives slightly different dimensional callouts, so production dimensions and terminal clearance should be confirmed before tooling. The large cylindrical format requires secure retention, insulation and a mechanically appropriate interconnect arrangement.
Maximum charging and discharging currents are listed as 150A and 250A respectively. Both entries are marked as momentary and unsuitable for cycling, without a specified duration. They must not be treated as continuous ratings or assigned an invented pulse length; confirm duty cycle, thermal response and protection settings for the intended application.
Standard charging uses 0.5C, or 25A, constant current followed by constant voltage at 3.65V until current falls to 0.05C or less. Standard discharging also uses 25A, ending at 2.5V. A compatible charger and BMS should enforce these operating targets rather than use the separate 3.8V upper limit as a normal charging setpoint.
Single-cell impedance is specified at no more than 0.8mΩ at 1kHz. Charging is permitted from 0°C to 50°C and discharging from -20°C to 50°C. In the documented -20°C test, 1C discharge to 2.0V achieves at least 80% capacity retention; this does not establish a universal high-current limit at low temperature.
At room temperature, the specification lists at least 6,000 cycles to 80% initial capacity using 1C charging and 0.5C discharging to 2.5V. At 45°C, it lists at least 4,500 cycles to the same retention threshold using 0.5C charge and discharge. Actual service life depends on the complete system’s duty cycle and temperature control.
Custom battery pack applications: Potential uses include industrial energy storage, backup power and professionally engineered equipment packs. Misenpower supplies cells and supports custom pack integration with a compatible BMS, fusing, cell-level voltage and temperature sensing, spot-welded tabs and engineered interconnects, insulation, spacing, thermal management and mechanical restraint. The specification prohibits soldering leads directly to the cell. Supporting CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation can be discussed for the applicable product and shipment; confirm availability and scope before making a compliance claim.
