The Misenpower 38120HP is a high-power cylindrical lithium iron phosphate cell rated at 3.2V and 8Ah. It combines approximately 25.6Wh of nominal energy with a verified 120A maximum continuous discharge current, low AC impedance and documented 3000-cycle performance. Its threaded terminal construction supports professionally engineered battery modules requiring high current, secure connections and integrated electrical, thermal and mechanical protection.
The cell provides 8Ah rated capacity and 7.8Ah minimum capacity under the specified 0.5C test. Combined with its 3.2V nominal voltage, this equals approximately 25.6Wh of calculated single-cell energy. The LiFePO4 voltage profile supports high-power modules requiring predictable output throughout the operating cycle.
The documented maximum continuous discharge current is 15C, equivalent to 120A based on the 8Ah capacity. This supports demanding power applications when interconnects, protection settings and thermal management are properly engineered. The separate 30C instantaneous value has no defined duration and therefore requires manufacturer confirmation before design use.
Standard charging uses a 3C, or 24A, CC/CV profile to 3.65V, terminating below 0.01C. Up to 10C charging is listed when cell temperature is at least 10°C. Such high-rate charging requires precise voltage control, cell-temperature sensing, current-capable connections and complete pack-level validation.
AC impedance is specified at no more than 2.5mΩ at 1000Hz. Under the documented discharge-rate tests, capacity remains at least 7.7Ah at 5C, 7.6Ah at 10C and 7.2Ah at 15C. Actual pack results depend on cell temperature, connection resistance and voltage-drop limits.
At the 3000th cycle, the specification requires at least 6.4Ah discharge capacity under its 100% depth-of-discharge cycle test. This equals 80% of the rated 8Ah capacity. Actual service life varies with charge rate, discharge current, operating temperature, state-of-charge window, connection quality and cell balancing.
The cylindrical cell uses threaded terminal construction, while the positive pole includes a protective device in the supplied specification. This configuration supports secure mechanical pack connections without direct soldering. Busbar material, fastener torque, contact resistance, insulation and vibration resistance must be validated for the finished battery assembly.
Custom battery pack applications: Suitable applications include high-power starting systems, industrial equipment, automated vehicles, electric mobility, UPS, energy-storage modules and other high-current battery systems subject to engineering validation. MisenBattery supplies Misenpower cells and supports custom pack integration with a compatible BMS, fuse, busbars or welded interconnects, voltage and temperature sensing, insulation, spacing, mechanical restraint and thermal design. Supporting CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation can be provided when available for the applicable cell, pack and shipment; the supplied specification does not identify certificate numbers.
