The SVOLT 21700-5000mAh is a high-capacity cylindrical lithium-ion cell developed for professionally engineered battery packs. It combines 5000mAh nominal capacity, 3.60V nominal voltage and approximately 18Wh of calculated energy with temperature-dependent discharge capability up to 9.8A. Its documented cycle performance, low AC impedance and defined pack-design requirements support energy-focused mobility, backup-power and stationary battery assemblies.
SVOLT specifies 5000mAh nominal capacity and 4900mAh minimum capacity when discharged at 0.2C under the stated test conditions. Combined with the 3.60V nominal voltage, this provides approximately 18Wh of calculated energy per cell for battery assemblies where runtime and volumetric energy are primary design considerations.
The cylindrical cell measures 21.6 ± 0.2mm in diameter and 71.2 ± 0.2mm in height, with a weight of 69 ± 2g. These specified sleeved dimensions assist pack engineers in planning holders, welded interconnects, insulation barriers, thermal spacing and mechanical restraint for series-parallel battery configurations.
Maximum discharge current reaches 9.8A between 5°C and 45°C, while a 4.9A limit applies from −20°C to 5°C and from 45°C to 60°C. These values are marked as unsuitable for cycle-life operation, so the BMS must provide current derating and stop discharge if cell-surface temperature exceeds 70°C.
Standard charging applies 2.45A constant current to 4.20V, followed by constant-voltage charging until current falls to 98mA at 25 ± 2°C. Maximum charge current varies from 0.98A to 4.90A according to temperature. A dedicated charger, pre-charge function and accurate overcharge protection are required for pack integration.
AC impedance is specified at no more than 20mΩ when measured at 1kHz. For multi-cell assembly, SVOLT recommends using cells of the same grade, batch and charge state, with cell voltage matched within 20mV and internal-resistance variation controlled within 6mΩ to support pack balance and consistent performance.
The specification requires at least 80% of original capacity at the 801st cycle. Testing uses 0.5C CC-CV charging to 4.20V with a 0.05C termination current, followed by 1C discharge to 2.50V at 25 ± 2°C. Actual service life remains dependent on voltage window, current, temperature and pack control.
Custom battery pack applications: Following application-specific validation, the SVOLT 21700-5000mAh cell can support energy-focused light-mobility systems, portable power equipment, industrial backup power and stationary energy-storage assemblies. MisenBattery supplies cells and supports custom pack integration with a matched BMS, series fuse protection, welded interconnects, cell-level voltage and temperature sensing, insulation, controlled spacing, thermal management and mechanical restraint. Direct soldering and use as an unprotected standalone battery are not permitted. Supporting CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation can be provided when available for the applicable cell, completed battery pack and shipment; the supplied specification describes safety tests but does not identify certification numbers or approval scope.
