The EVE C40 is a large-format rechargeable cylindrical lithium-ion cell with 20000mAh nominal capacity and up to 60A continuous discharge. Its aluminum-can construction, low AC resistance and broad discharge-temperature range support professionally engineered energy-storage, mobility and industrial battery systems. This is an unprotected bare cell intended for qualified pack manufacturers, not a standalone consumer battery.
The C40 provides 20000mAh nominal capacity and 19500mAh minimum capacity when measured at 0.33C between 3.65V and 2.5V. These clearly defined capacity grades help pack engineers calculate parallel-cell counts, usable capacity targets and production tolerances without treating the market capacity as a guaranteed minimum value.
Its coated diameter is 40.56 ± 0.3mm, while total height is 135.0 ± 0.5mm including the round terminals. The aluminum cylindrical enclosure weighs 364 ± 10g. Pack layouts should accommodate the specified dimensional tolerances, terminal geometry, insulation clearances and suitable mechanical restraint before tooling or busbar designs are finalized.
EVE specifies a maximum continuous discharge current of 60000mA, equivalent to 3C on the declared 20Ah capacity basis. Standard discharge is 10000mA or 0.5C. The battery-management system, conductors, terminals, fusing and thermal design must all be rated for the selected operating current and expected duty cycle.
Standard charging uses 10A constant current to 3.65V, followed by constant-voltage charging until current falls below 1A. A separate specification entry lists 20A fast charging, but the operating instructions recommend currents no higher than 10A. Any accelerated charging program should therefore be reviewed with EVE and validated at pack level.
AC internal resistance is specified at no more than 3mΩ when measured at 1kHz and shipment state of charge. Discharge operation is permitted from -20°C to 60°C. Charging spans 0°C to 55°C, but its allowable current changes with cell temperature and state of charge according to EVE’s gradient-charging table.
At 25°C, the cell retains at least 70% of initial capacity after 2000 cycles using 0.5C charging and 0.5C discharging. At 45°C, the corresponding requirement is at least 70% after 1000 cycles. Actual service life depends on depth of discharge, temperature, current, voltage limits and pack balancing.
Custom battery pack applications: Misenpower supplies cells and supports custom integration for stationary energy storage, telecom backup, industrial equipment and professionally engineered mobility batteries. Every pack requires a compatible BMS, correctly rated fuse, welded or otherwise engineered interconnects, voltage and temperature sensing, electrical insulation, cell spacing, mechanical restraint and suitable thermal design. Direct soldering to the cell is prohibited. Supporting CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation can be provided for the applicable product and shipment; document scope should be confirmed before ordering.
