The LG Chem INR18650 M26 is a 3.6V, 2600mAh rechargeable cylindrical lithium-ion cell specified for light electric vehicle applications. It combines a compact 18650 format with a 10A maximum discharge current, 2.5A maximum charge current and documented 500-cycle performance. The M26 is an unprotected industrial cell intended for professionally engineered battery packs rather than direct standalone consumer use.
The cell provides 2600mAh nominal capacity and 2500mAh minimum capacity under the manufacturer’s standard charge and discharge conditions. At its 3.60V nominal voltage, this equals approximately 9.36Wh of nominal single-cell energy for compact mobility and portable-equipment battery packs.
The M26 has a maximum diameter of 18.4mm, a height of 65.0 ± 0.2mm and an approximate weight of 44.0g. These dimensions support space-efficient multi-cell layouts for light electric vehicle and other professionally designed cylindrical battery packs.
LG Chem specifies a maximum discharge current of 10A with a 2.75V discharge cut-off. During maximum-current discharge at room temperature, the cell must remain below the specified 75°C maximum temperature limit. Pack design should include appropriate current limiting and thermal sensing.
Standard CCCV charging uses 1.25A to 4.20V with a 50mA termination current. The maximum specified charge current is 2.50A. Charging must remain within the 0°C to 45°C operating range and use a dedicated charger with accurate voltage and current control.
The specified operating range is 0°C to 45°C during charging and -20°C to 60°C during discharge. In the manufacturer’s temperature test, capacity reached at least 70% of minimum capacity at -10°C, 80% at 0°C and 95% at 60°C.
After 500 cycles, the 501st standard discharge capacity measured at least 70% of the 2500mAh minimum capacity. Cycling used a 1.25A charge to 4.20V, a 2.50A discharge to 2.75V and thirty-minute rest periods after charging and discharging.
Custom battery pack applications: MisenBattery supplies LG Chem INR18650 M26 cells and supports custom pack integration for light electric vehicles, e-bikes, compact mobility products, robotics and commercial portable equipment. Each pack should include a compatible BMS, fuse, bank-voltage and temperature sensing, welded interconnects, terminal insulation, suitable cell spacing, and appropriate thermal and mechanical protection. Supporting CE, UN38.3, RoHS and UL documentation can be provided subject to the applicable cell, pack and shipment scope.
